SCORING AND BONUS POINTS
​
1) No first ball in.
2) Two set matches will be played in the round robin, a best two out of three sets will be played in the playoffs.
3) During the round robin matches, if any player wins a set by winning six games, they will receive ONE bonus point to take them to seven games. If each player wins a set, then a seven point tiebreak will be played to determine the winner of the match. The winner of the tiebreak will win the match, and get a bonus of ONE point added to their total number of games won for each set of the match, plus any bonus points for winning six games in a set. The loser of the match will accumulate their number of games won in each set, plus any bonus for winning six games in a set.

4) Games won in the tiebreak will not be added to point totals.

5) If a player wins both sets, they win the match, and will receive a bonus of TWO points added to their number of games won in each set, plus any bonus points for winning six games in a set. The loser will only accumulate their number of games won in each set.

6) The winner of the round robin is the player with the most points, which is a combination of games won and bonus points.
​
7) If there are two or more players with the same amount of points, then the results of their head to head matches will be used to break the tie.
​
8) A set is finished at 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5, or 7-6. but if it reaches 6-6, then a 7-point tie-break is played.
​
9) If a tie-break is played at 6-6, the winner of the tie-break wins that set, i.e. 7-6.

INJURY/RETIRE
10) If any participants drop out of the round robin for any reasons, then any sets played by them will be erased, and the round robin standings will appear as if they never entered the tournament.
​
11) If a player has to retire due to injury during a match, the uninjured player must immediately elect to either:
a) end the match by receiving 6 games for any unfinished set, plus the bonus point(s) for the six games, and actual games won for any completed set with the injured player receiving actual games won so far.
​
b) agree to reschedule the match to another time electing to either restart from the beginning or to resume with the score where play left off.
​
DEFAULTS
12) If you do not show up for a scheduled match, you default that match. All bonus points will be awarded to the player who the match was defaulted to. If you do not show up for two scheduled matches, you will be removed from the tournament, and not be invited to play again. All results from your previous matches will be deleted.
​
13) If you do not respond to another player's request to arrange a match within TWO days of receiving the request, you default that match. All bonus points will be awarded to the player who the match was defaulted to. If you default two matches in this same manner, you will be removed from the tournament, and not be invited to play again. All results from your previous matches will be deleted.

14) All default scores will show as 6-0, 6-0. All bonus points will be added to defaulted matches.
​
Whatever other situation comes up that isn’t covered in the above, mutually agree on a solution, or contact the organizer.
